The purpose of this workbook is to provide a navigational guide, no matter what kind of cancer you are treating. Although the amount of information can seem overwhelming, what you need, step-by-step, can be organized and streamlined into a manageable to-do list. I've included templates to assist you when speaking with your physicians: Show me where my tumor is located. Show me where you are placing a central line or port. Let me show you where my pain is coming from. Take this book with you to the doctor's office, radiation, infusion clinic, pharmacy, and grocery store.

About the Author

My name is Lucy Hall. I have worked in pharmacy for nearly fifteen years and in oncology for over ten years. At Fountain Valley Cancer Center Pharmacy, we interact directly with patients, physicians, and caregivers to provide a knowledgeable, experienced safety net: What to expect. What to ask. How to prevent problems common with a suppressed immune system. Remaining as independent as possible for as long as possible. I believe my degree in botany gives me a unique perspective of the herb and supplement aisle. Take this book with you to the doctor’s office, radiation, infusion, pharmacy, and grocery store.
