About the Book

Timmy to the Moon is about a young boy named Timmy with a wild and vivid imagination. In this book we travel with Timmy as he is destined for the moon. Upon landing, Timmy has a number of interesting experiences, including moon angels and aliens.

About the Author

Dear readers and parents, My name is Matthew Petry. I am a twenty-one year old college student at the University of Kansas City Missouri. I am studying to become an elementary education teacher because I love children and want to have a special impact on their lives. Writing is a passion of mine as well. My inspiration for this book came from the children that were in a class I was helping teach. Watching the children pretend and seeing legos and building blocks turn into airplanes and distant castles, inspired me to write and use the children’s imaginations to guide me. I am looking forward to continued writing, and hopefully inspiring children the way that they have inspired me.
