About the Book

Ben Fury tells the story of a mild-mannered High School Freshman, suffering from the usual teenage quarrels of corrupt school officials, bullies and rivals, romance and rejection, rumors and drama, all with a dangerous shortage of self-esteem. But now, he has to attach another huge obstacle onto that menu: Saving the Universe. Ben Fury´s world does a complete 360 when he discovers the Earth´s destiny: the fall of civilization at the hands of an army of seemingly endless supernatural creatures known as the Razakin. Out of the ashes of a war-torn future, a tattered but ambitious Resistance Movement called I.M.R.A. (The International Mercenary Resistance Agency) inform him that he is the only thing standing in the way of total destruction. As the future founder of I.M.R.A., they endow him with a powerful, futuristic battle suit and send him back to his own time with a number of objectives, stemming from one central mission: Prevent the Apocalypse. Out of this revelation, doors begin to open in Ben´s life, though simultaneously, he quickly finds himself overwhelmed with the responsibility of preventing a supernatural juggernaut from consuming the entire universe. But with his allies by his side and an army from the future behind him, Ben finds that he has more of a chance to give the Razakin a run for their money than he gives himself credit for. Ben Fury is an epic Sci-Fi/Fantasy mix, chronicling the struggle between Earth´s newest hero and the physical incarnation of sin itself. About the Author

Q.J. Goodwin is a recent high school graduate who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his family. With this novel, he begins the first in a series of books that will make up the Ben Fury Memoirs.
