About the Book

Marshel Hays had worked the streets of Calgary as a constable for the better half of his life and felt privileged to do so. Despite his own less than enviable past, he believed he had learned from his mistakes and would be able to pass that knowledge on to his kids. At 15 years of age Bobbi was the oldest of two daughters suffocating as the ‘daughter of a cop’ and has to escape. House rules were a cakewalk compared to what lay ahead. Quickly forced into a life of stealing cars, drugs, and prostitution she eventually makes a break for it.
