About the Book

Everyone needs a puddle – a place that takes you away from wherever you are. A place that belongs only to you - until the raindrops stop falling. Splash Puddle Splash is an endearing story about a little girl and her grandmother who live together in a big city. On rainy days Sarah has permission to visit her special puddle. She puts on her raincoat and walks down her driveway, past a hissing cat and a crooked crack to where a sidewalk begins. While Sarah plays, Grandmother rocks in her chair remembering a long time ago when she too had a special puddle. Splash Puddle Splash is a timeless story that bonds families and generations through the possibilities of imagination.
