About the Book

This book covers a range of topics from love to politics, break ups to falling in love, violence to reconciliations and most of all the divine power of the supernatural being we call God. He has given me words to join sentences and sentences to create stanzas. He is the absolute provider of providers and the reason I live. Most of the poems are linked by a common name Myra or Mesh, who are the main personas. Myra being a beautiful lady and Mesh being a young handsome lad, they tell their stories and their experiences in ways lovers would. Other personas have their own ordeals and short comings that make their stories distinct and natural fitting their characters. The poems are about Africa and the way of life in the continent, particularly in Kenya. The sayings and proverbs used are translated to English but still keen to preserve their context. The poems are related to everyone and not Africans alone the message of love or the praising of God have a universal and common way and none can claim to do it differently.
