About the Book

Double Deception is a mystery suspense about a young artist named Antonio who feels that he never finds true love. That is until he meets Simone Jackson, a wealthy middle age women who hears about his paintings from a friend. She falls for his paintings and the two create a business relationship. The relationship turns from business to pleasure as the two generate a physical chemistry that seemingly blinds Antonio. What Antonio does not know is that Simone Jackson has other motives; to take over her the art gallery gaining all the assets and killing Antonio. When Antonio’s friends find this out, they desperately intervene to stop him but their attempts to help become at times deadly. This twisted suspense tail ends deadly leaving the characters and the readers mystified, dumbfounded and shocked.

About the Author

Ford D.Barrett has always loved writing since he was a child and never got rid of his passion. Ford’s passion for writing started when he won first place in a short story writing contest for his local library in Toronto, Canada. From that point on, he has never looked back and considers writing to be passion. Currently a nursing student completing his Bachelor of Science of Nursing and also holding a Bachelor Science degree in Psychology, Ford has found time in his busy schedule to write and publish some of his work. When not in school, Ford is currently an album and event reviewer for online music websites. Ford has also expand his writing abilities in writing for his local campus newspaper for his university paper as well as getting his article published in a Toronto community based newspaper. In his busy schedule, Ford is currently working on his second novel which share similar theme of drama and suspense, that Ford is very intrigued to entice his potential readers with his writing.
