This is a short story of a little girl who wants to help her daddy and thinks she is helping him during his day off work. However, her view of helping and what he is experiencing are two different things. This delightful story for young and old alike will bring smiles to those who read and can relate to both the daughter and her daddy.

About the Author

Geoffrey M. Thomas lives in South Eastern Idaho with his family. He is happily married to his wife Janalee and they are the proud parents of five children; three sons and two daughters. Their daughters served as the inspiration for this work. The Author is a proud graduate of Utah State University and Idaho State University. Working with students as a lifelong educator, Geoffrey has always wanted to write children’s books. This is Geoffrey’s second published work, his first being his dissertation. As he states, “Daddy’s Day Off” was much more fun to write and read!”
