Fifteen-year-old Amy Martin is torn up over her recent loss, keeping to herself and avoiding any reminders of the person who is no longer in her world. Her outlook on life begins to change after a bike ride where she meets a lively girl named Sarah, who slowly teaches her to live and love again. As the relationship between the girls blossoms, Amy struggles with her life’s history and the suspicion that Sarah is keeping secrets as well. When a life-or-death situation threatens to tear them apart for good, Amy must learn to let go of the past in order to hold onto the future. Must Keep Moving is a story of love, life, and the struggle to combine the two, told in a way that will capture all audiences.

About the Author

Emily S. Bump completed her first book, Must Keep Moving, at the age of 18. Emily is an avid reader and has always had a passion for writing, ranging from poems and short stories and now expanding to novels appealing to young adults. Emily lives in Connecticut with her mother, father and 14-year-old sister. Must Keep Moving is Emily's first published piece. She began working on the story almost three years ago, and is thrilled to finally share the result of her hard work. Emily is preparing to start college, where she hopes to major in Early Childhood Education and further her writing career.
