About the Book

Tommy’s True Love for Basketball is based on a true story about a little boy by the name of Tommy who was full of energy, had a great personality, and a true love and extraordinary talent to play basketball. Tommy aspired to grow up to become a famous basketball star. In real life, Tommy dies suddenly as a result of a cardiac arrest at the age of 6 years old.

Tommy’s grandmother, who was so inspired by Tommy unique talent, decides to write a short children’s story about Tommy in spite of the fact that she had never had any prior knowledge of writing and or self-publishing children’s books.

This book is part fictional in that Tommy’s grandmother fulfills his dream by allowing Tommy to actually grow up becoming the famous basketball star that he truly wanted to be. Tommy has many friends and is loved and admired by

everyone. Tommy’s friends are eager to learn of Tommy’s success. He explains that through his strong drive and determination, and will not to give up on himself that he is able to attain NBA status.

About the Author: Lysundra lives in Madison Wisconsin. She enjoys traveling, reading, and knitting baby hats. Lysundra volunteers to knit hats for a local hospital in her home town. She also volunteer for the North Eastside Senior Coalition in the same area. In addition, Lysundra loves spending time with her grandchildren and she loves to cook nutrious meals and taste foods from foreign countries.
