Open The Door is a mixture of poetry and art combined. Poetry that reaches down into your soul and moves the ground you’re standing on. It covers topics of political events, death, mothers and fathers.. It has poems on trust, dreams, grace, encouragement and God. It also has a section called kids’ corner, introducing new characters for future books. Excellent read for a wide variety of readers, young and old.

About the Author

Born in Fontana,Ca. Raised on Cape Breton Island, Sydney NS. I embarked on a life of adventure. Now Living in Seattle, Wa with daughter Nicole Simard and grandson Landan Simard-Pleskac. Surrounded by my other children Amy MacVicar, Logan and Kayla Fox, Jeffrey Simard , and family and friends. I spend my spare time oil painting, reading, writing, loving people, praying and being a Grandma.
