About the Book

“Stories That Rhyme – For Anytime” is a collection of five stories for children, among them include: “Olivia’s Nightlight”, which was inspired by an old high school friend’s child; “Rhymes To God,” inspired by having a rhyming prayer to God as a child to pray; and “Kendall’s Memory Book,” is for my son, who lives in Tuscaloosa with his father, and an idea for all mother’s to make for their children as keepsakes.

About the Author

Arlene Jennings is 37 years old, and lives in Point Clear, Alabama. She has been a Tennis Instructor for fourteen years in California and Alabama. She has taught for the National Junior Tennis League in Santa Monica, California, Beverly Hills Tennis, Youth League Tennis, The City of Fairhope, A&K Tennis, as well as many more organizations, specializing in working with the youth. She has also worked with children for over twenty years, some spent in the School System as well as raising them in private homes, as a full-time Nanny. She is a member of the Fairhope Single Tax Colony and Eastern Shore Civitan. Arlene has been writing poetry since 1987, at the time she was fourteen. Her poetry started as friendship poems and progressed into love, and poetry of family and now children stories in rhyme. Arlene enjoys reading, journaling, writing, going to coffee shops, book stores, spending time with family and friends, and adores the company of all animals.
