About the Author
Edgar M. Alexander is a native of Tuskegee Alabama. And that is where he spent his early childhood days. Even at his early age he was fascinated by numbers . This was primarily due to the idea that mathematics always had an answer. And the answer was universal where everyone could agree. In 1964 he left home to become part of the First ABC Program (A Better Chance) at Dartmouth College. Having been accepted to attend private school, in the fall of that year he started classes at Wilbraham Academy. Here he finished his high school requirements. At Tufts university he majored in mathematics and minored in economics . This is where he was first introduced to calculus . Mathematics continued to be his major interest. Upon graduating from Tufts he continued his education with the following : Masters Degree from Howard University in Urban Systems Engineering ; and several courses in Operations Research in a Doctorate Program at George Washington University. That concludes his education background. Since then he has worked thirty five years in the United States Government.
