About the Author

Mr. Kassi Ydris is a former English teacher who taught mostly poor people of all ages how to read and write in English in South Korea for seven years and Japan for five years. He has a Masters degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from The Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. He lived and studied in Copenhagen, Denmark. He originally came from Mexico to America. He grew up in Costa Mesa, CA in Orange County. He is fluent in Spanish and studied French in high school and college. He was awarded the Aladdin prize for his work with his poetry and for being the editor of his high school creative writing club for two years. He has been writing poetry since the age of eleven years old. One of his other dreams is to travel around the world and buy a house. This is his second book and he is currently working on his third.
