This story is about a young toddler who was abandon on the street. He is later found by a young author coming from her publishers house and she takes him in. later she experiences trials that she has to go through. This story is about love, hurt, lost, and trusting.

About the Author

Julia R. Batts was born in Harlem, New York to Gail D. Batts and Julius Brown on June 24, 1989. She was raised by her recently deceased grandmother Rena M. Batts in Queens, New York for five years. Her grandmother was a stay at home parent and after five years of being in New York Julia was moved to her grandmothers hometown of Hampstead, North Carolina. There she attended Topsails elementary, middle, and high school and graduated from the high school in 2007. She attended Cape Fear community college for a year and a half and had to stop going to take care of her ill grandmother when she fell and couldn’t care for herself. Julia moved back to her home of New York in 2010 to live with her eldest sister and family. This is where she now resides.
