How the universe got its name will enchant even the youngest reader. It is a fun fairy tale that also speaks about values in life. When Queen Nightgale has to face a tough decision she makes what seem like the wrong choice ends up being the right one in the end. I really enjoyed dreaming this one up, but the credit should go to my daughter who is my true inspiration. As we all know things are not always fair or as they seem and there are always obstacles to overcome. I hope you and your children will enjoy this little story as much as our home does.

About the Author

Susan Smedley, the author of Top 300 Bathroom Questions, is pleased to announce her first children’s book, How the Universe Got Its Name. It is a fun fairy tale that also speaks to love, overcoming hardship and faith. She is a graduate of Radford University with a B. S. in Media Studies. After spending most of her career in advertising sales, this is her first contribution to the wonderful world of stories written for children. She is also a painter and a full –time mother, residing in Stephenson, Virginia.
