About the Book

Tammy Pearson is a senior in high school who is most likely to succeed. She is popular, intelligent, and beautiful. She appears to have it all including her high school sweetheart, Terrell Bryant, who is a promising athlete headed to the NFL. The two of them have plans on getting married and building a future together until a turn of events happens, which changes their lives forever. Tammy’s life spirals out of control. She begins to realize that life doesn’t always go as planned. Luckily for her, she has a best friend, Renee Spears, who is intuitive, witty, and street smart. The two of them go through their journey of life together. Tammy thought that she knew everything about Renee but soon discovers that even Renee has a few secrets of her own.
