About the Author

Bonnie Solomon was born December 9, 1969 in Somers Point, New Jersey. Born into a large family of six, four brothers and one sister. She relocated throughout the years attending numerous schools and grew up in poverty. She was a stay at home mom, but on occasion worked as a chamber maid and cared for an elderly woman until she moved to East Tennessee near The Great Smoky Mountains in 1995. She moved to Tennessee with her four very small children. She became a parent volunteer in 1995. Over the next eight years she gave birth to four more children. In 1999 she completed her GED course and became a substitute teacher in 2000. She became fond of reading after spending a lot of her time helping children with reading and substitute teaching. She decided to further her education so she enrolled in Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee on July 15, 2008. It was then that she was inspired by several Professors, but one in particular really pushed her. She was asked if she ever thought about writing. They were impressed with her lifestyle seeing that she has eight children, helping them with homework, car pooling between sports, working, volunteering, attending college, and finding time to write poetry. She holds an Associate’s Degree and looks forward to continue writing and publishing poetry and short stories.
