About the Book

Pastor Stephanie Jennings-Stratford, affectionately called “Pastor Stephanie”, is the Senior Pastor of Ekklesia Family Life & Worship Center in Brentwood, Maryland. She is a gifted preacher, teacher and author who is known for her unique and dynamic presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She has served the Body of Christ across the nation as a conference speaker, revivalist and minister to women for over 30 years. Her book, God Speaks to Women, is available on her website www.pastorstephaniestratford.com and on Amazon.com. Pastor Stephanie is married to Ekklesia’s First Gentleman, Deacon Thomas Stratford. She is the mother of seven children, fi ve of whom she home schooled for seven years, which afforded her the opportunity to travel with them as she evangelized throughout the country. Her personal philosophy states, “Your life is God’s gift to you. What you do with your life is your gift to God.”

Reverend Stephanie Jennings-Stratford Rev. Stephanie Stratford is a gifted preacher/teacher and evangelist who is known for her unique and dynamic presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She has served the Body of Christ across the nation as a conference speaker and minister to women for over 25 years. She is the Director of Church Ministries at Galilee Baptist Church in Suitland, Maryland. Stephanie and her husband, Thomas, own and operate the Stratford Group, a team of Christian professionals which provides services in ministry consulting; event planning and commentating; announcing and voiceovers. Her passion and hearts desire is that women’s lives be changed through the power of the Word of God. Valdenia Simmons Valdenia Simmons, the eldest of six children, was raised and educated in Washington, DC. She earned a BA in Journalism from the University of the District of Columbia. She is currently the Chairperson of the Deaconess Ministry of Galilee Baptist Church where the Pastor is Reverend Dr. Lloyd T. McGriff. During over 26 years of service to the Lord through Galilee she has put her gifts to work as Sunday School Superintendent, Women’s Ministry staff member, and instructor with VBS, the Galilee Discipleship Ministry, and other ministerial, training and leadership activities. She recently retired after nearly 30 years of government service to start VisionWorks Consulting Services, a company providing training, marketing and curriculum development services.
