As the little bears searched the woods for the treasure, a severe storm occurred. The bears find themselves in the midst of a terrifying situation. They discovered a little mountain lion. Thus, the plot changed. Duffy and Huffy’s Surprising Adventure is designed for young children, ages 6-9 years old. In the classroom, this book would be an excellent story to read during guided and shared reading or for silent reading time. At home, it would be a great book for a child to snuggle in a blanket to read quietly while enjoying a glass of warm milk or hot chocolate; It can also be an excellent bed time story book.

About the Author

Marie Crosby-Anderson says “Duffy and Huffy Surprising Adventure” was inspired as she attempted to compose a story which will allow animals to exhibit human-like characteristics. In the process, her thoughts and ideas produced an intriguing story with a moral ending. Marie resides in Georgia. She is married, a blessed mother of three adult children, and a proud mother-in-law. After graduating from college, Marie began a teaching career in the field of elementary education. The motivation to write children’s books happen midstream of her teaching career.
