About the Book

Sarah Henderson is an abandoned young teen soon-to-be mom, she presumes. After being told by her own mother to run away from home and to never return, she hit the streets trying to find stability for herself at only the age of fifteen. She finds that life was never really about being the popular girl in school and not about dating and guys any longer.

She is faced with a series of obstacles and life lessons from finding a home to dealing with relationships and problems more effectively. Sarah must come to grips with the fact that she is nearly an orphan, and she must learn to become self-sufficient enough to survive.

When faced with some of the same barriers keeping her from love as was her mother, she must decide for herself what is the right thing for her to do.

About the Author

I came from a troubling background that could have been worse, I could say. I was born in St. Paul, MN to Veronica Savino and Joseph Beasley. My father was never in my life. My mother worked all around the clock since before I was even thought of and set a positive example for me. Back then, she was in the process of finishing up with college and working a full time job at the same time. Getting through school was a challenging, but she worked assiduously at what she did. Mom was both parents at the same time, and I would like to give her a special thanks for seeing me through all of these 22 years I have been alive and for putting faith into me and for encouraging me to go to college. I am still in college, planning to continue. I love my mom.
