About the Author
Mike Catalano grew up in Santa Cruz, California. He learned tracking and an appreciation of nature as part of the California Ecology Corps in the early 1970s. He earned a ministerial degree from Berean College (now Global University) in 1986. From 1995 to 1998, he was editor of Melting Trees Review, a poetry journal in Montgomery, Alabama. He has had over 400 poems published world-wide, including France, Guam, South Africa, Canada, and Great Britain. He is the father of a son, Abe; two daughters, Suzanne and Tammy, and a grandson, Julius. He lives in Aromas, California at Red-Tail Ranch.
