The Moon is Broken

About the Book

This is a true story of my two sons when they were about five and six years old. We were visiting at my mother's house one day, and while I was talking with my mother, they were outside playing ball. When the sun started to go down, and the moon began to rise, they realized that it was not a full moon. Since they had never really noticed the moon before, in a quarter state, they got scared that the moon was broken. This is their unique and creative way to fix and save the crescent moon in the sky.

About the Author

I was born at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, Massachusetts and raised in the town of Harwich. Shortly after graduating from Cape Cod Tech High School, I met my wonderful husband and had two beautiful sons, who also graduated from Cape Cod Tech. My youngest son has since moved to Florida and my oldest son is joining the Air Force. Since I have become an empty - nester, I have again pursued my love of writing. Although I mainly write poetry, which I actually have a few published in The National Library Of Poetry, I have decided to give myself an opportunity to try my hand at a children's story.
