About the Book

The dark and lonely side journals the journey throughout my life. Not many will read and not identify with something in this collection at one point or another. My objective for my poems is to inspire strength to go through the trials and tribulations of living life. From trauma to drama, addiction to drugs to kisses and hugs, love make to heartbreak, loneliness to homelessness, struggle and strife to husband and wife, these are the ins and outs of my life. Life, love, marriage infidelity and divorce, are some of the motivating factors to my writing. This book contains 97 different poems about a variety of things that god hands to us in our everyday lives. I hope that these poems can touch someone’s heart as they’ve come from within my heart to do just that. I prey that I reach my goal and that is to be heard and known worldwide not as a great poet but as a great expressionist.
