About the Book

It is written for those who have not had the benefit of knowing a transgender person, to explain why it is important for one to affirm ones identity. It confirms the importance that self acceptance and acceptance of other's diversity, promises the possibilities of beautiful friendships.


About the Author

Margaret Baker-Street was born and raised in the large metropolitan area of San Jose, California, so she is no stranger to diversity. She is a life coach living in Lodi, California with her husband, Joe, and two kids, Colin and Shannon. She doesn’t let anyone tell her or her family that they are anything less than beautiful. Margaret is a co-organizer of the Stockton chapter of PFLAG. She is very active in the LGBTQ community as an ally, and an active volunteer at the San Joaquin Pride Center.
