About the Author
George B. Lee, an African-American born and raised in Trenton, NJ, is the author of several other unpublished works of fiction all written in the past 15 years as a hobby of interest. After graduating from Temple University College of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, he worked as a pharmacist in an army hospital in the South, and later returned to Philadelphia. In the late 1960s he opened and operated his own pharmacy in inner city Philadelphia for 20 years. He finished his career at a chain pharmacy and retired in 1999. He presently resides in a Philadelphia suburb with his wife of 37 years. They have two children, a son, 35 and a daughter, 31. This novel was the result of a job offer early in his career at a small hospital in the South, which was turned down but produced a few “what ifs” over the years.
