About the Book

A little boy is trying to make sense of the confusion surrounding the death of his baby sister. He must ask questions to the adults around him and find a way to interpret the things they do and say in order to find his own sense of peace.

About the Author

Valerie Oldfield is an Ontario Certified Teacher who is also certified in Thanatology: The Study of death, dying and bereavement. In addition she earned a Bereavement Education Certificate from the University of Toronto. The author’s own personal experience as a bereaved parent and widow, combined with her studies and work with bereaved individuals through Bereaved Families of Ontario gives this story a sensitivity, depth and honesty that warms the heart.
