About the Author
My name is Linda Zito. I was born in Adelaide, South Australia in the year of 1975. I was raised, married and continued to live in Adelaide my whole life in a very close nit Italian heritage family. My profession was desktop publishing up until I gave birth to the first of my three children. From that time on I dedicated myself to raising my three girls as well as looking after the accounts in our family construction business part time and I am now also studying interior design part time. But, I must say, my most important, fulfilling and rewarding role in my life is being a mother. Although raising children can be tiresome and difficult at times, they are my first and foremost priority. I am constantly finding ways to do my best to give my family the happiest, healthiest and most positive way of life I can give them and myself. In the last couple of years I’ve been enlightened immensely by a lot of positive and inspirational literature that has turned my way of thinking and life for the much better. What I found for myself, I wanted to share with my children but on a level that they could understand. Although there are many beautiful inspiring books out there for children, I really was searching for more of a straight forward, to the point, basic term short story book that could help them understand and give them the tools to a more positive way of thinking and importantly encourage self-belief, which I believe is a great path to a child’s happiness within. So I decided to write this book for my own children and then thought if my children can benefit from this why not share this with every other child. And so this was the inspiration to publishing my first book. I like to believe that if we can give our children the inspiration of self-belief and allow them the opportunity to want to be a positive member of our society, it will contribute to living in a more positive and happier environment, and I believe that is the best gift we could ever give our children and ourselves.
