About the Author

My name is Jennifer. I am a single, working-class mother of two smalls girls in Texas. I like to tell stories to my daughters at bedtime and I began making up stories about my Dachshund (weiner dog) Cooper for them. My girls really enjoyed the stories and I thought perhaps other children would too, so I decided to write some of them down. Learning about safety can be fun! My books will teach many fundamental lessons as well as help teach children to read in a way that is enjoyable for kids and parents alike. The importance of stranger-danger, safely crossing the road, cleaning your room, sharing and being kind to others are just some of the many topics my stories will cover. Many parents are busy with work, school, errands, housekeeping, and other obligations. It is my hope that these stories will be used for parents to take the time to sit down and read and learn with their children, at every opportunity.
