About the Book

My dad wrote poetry for many years. When he was almost at the end of his journey, he sat down and showed me some of what he had written. I couldn't believe that he had such marvelous emotion. He crafted some beautiful poems. Years later, I became inspired by his memory and what I had learned from him. I wish he were here to see this work. I think he would be proud.

About the Author

Inspired by his father, Robert Wood writes poetry drawn from his small-town life, and writing is something he was always wanted to do. His poems are based on everyday life experiences, with emotions common to all. Robert lives with his wife and daughter on their farm in the heartland of Ohio.
