This book helps children deal with grief, the loss of a loved one. This story was created for some fans of the Rich Family Series, Kayla and Allison Selsing. These girls’ granddad was dying and they thought this book would be a good way to help children with their grief. This beloved granddad was dearly loved and shall live forever in their hearts. This book is dedicated to the loving memory of Robert Hendrie.

About the Author

Carmen Martins, daughter of Manuel and Sofi a Cancela, was born in the small village Agua da Pau, Acores, in Portugal. She moved to Canada, British Columbia, at the age of three with her mother and two siblings, Maria Teresa and Luis Francisco Cancela. Carmen’s father moved to Canada, British Columbia, when she was only six months old then sent for the family when she was three years old. She is living in Oliver, British Columbia, with her three lovely children: Joey, Sofia, and her youngest, Chasey. She has always enjoyed writing and telling stories to her own children and her students at school.
