About the Author

Svetlana Polak was born in Belgrade in 1967. She currently lives and works between San Francisco and Belgrade. An economist by profession, writer, poet, and humanitarian, she writes of the early days. She is a board member of the cultural committee of the city of Belgrade. She is a winner of various awards, including the golden badge for a general contribution to the culture of Serbia awarded by the Ministry for Diaspora. Having authored several novels and books of poetry, this is the first time she writes a novel with the specific purpose of it being published in the USA. Bibliography: 1.
