About the Author

Luisa Rodriguez Cantu is the author of Wow, My Little Bitty Baby (October 10, 2016) and Mom, Can I have My Long Hair Back (November 2016) found in www.xlibris.com. She is a member of Texas Authors Inc. and of Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She earned a bachelor of science in Early Childhood Education. She accomplished twenty-three years as an early childhood educator in Abilene, Texas public schools. The strong foundation and inspiration toward writing are the memorable experiences spent with students in preschool programs for children with disabilities, inclusion, prekindergarten, and Head Start classrooms. She was born in Elsa, Texas, Rio Grande Valley. She is a retired military wife who lives in San Antonio, Texas area. She highly values education and heartily continues teaching for IDEA public schools. She enjoys reading magazines, novels, fantasy, journals, nonfiction, history, and other genres. Enthusiastically she writes, loves to travel, and devotes her time with her family; especially her precious grandchildren. Her deep passion is in entertaining and educating children all over the world.
