About the Book
The Prince the Frog and the Fly is a book about a prince who is to be a king of all the kings’ lands. In the transformation to kingship, the prince betrays his kingdom and his god to marry a sorceress, who lies and betrays him and turns him into a frog. The prince’s god shows up at the wedding when he finds out the prince was betrayed and mocked, and he destroys the prince’s kingdom and changes the prince’s sorceress bride into a fly. The prince’s god makes the prince live his life as the frog the sorceress has changed him into. The prince’s god tells the prince that when he catches the sorceress fly that changed him into a frog, then he shall be redeemed. After many years passed with the prince living as a frog, he is one day discovered trapped in small, old, and dirty concrete pool by a young prince of the new land who seems to be having issues like the problems of his past. While talking to this prince, he gives him advice, catches the fly sorceress, and redeems himself. He becomes a god, reunites with his god, and befriends a prince. He becomes the prince’s god and helps the prince’s kingdom live happily ever after.
About the Author
My name is Christopher James Patterson, a fifty-two-year-old, single, never-married black male. I like to write only as a hobby, and most of the books I like to write are fictional books, kids’ books, or fantasy books. These books are my choice because they give me a chance to use my imagination, which makes it somewhat easier to write, I think. I also believe if it wasn’t for these types of books, I would not have explored the realness of the world or my potentials.
