About the Book

“There Is Joy in Every Journey” is a communal celebration of the joys we all share in life. Its sole purpose is to promote harmony and inspire people to continue embracing their lives with a deeper perspective in all that molds them. For every book sold, a dollar donation will be made to the homeless. This is a selfless movement I hope the world will join in. One thing New York City most certainly does is build character. Growing up on the tough streets of Brooklyn during the early eighties served as the finest catalyst for the laying of a strong foundation in my pursuit of becoming a respectable man. The earliest lessons also set the framework for my greatest developments as a spiritualist. I have always been known to be a social being with an electrifying spirit, which is why I pursued a profession that would allow me to serve my brothers and sisters. Becoming a successful ambassador for wellness allowed me the ability to familiarize myself with an eclectic mix of cultures. Adapting to so many personalities was a daily obligation but also the greatest blessing because it added raw flavors to my many forms of expression (fitness, martial arts, poetry, philosophy, and dance). This was where I became a bona fide beacon. Being able to lead people to the light of life—whether being through fitness, martial arts, poetry, philosophy, or dance—has always been my greatest skill. Artistry has and always will be my strongest artery. I have been blessed, and with these blessings, I hope to help as many brothers and sisters in need of assistance with each breath I take.
