As a child, we were told we could grow up to be anything we want. How often do we take advantage of those opportunities and support as we grow up? This is the story of a little boy whose family continued to encourage and support him. With their loving and positive words, he goes through the journey of life and becomes a man. It is his family’s enduring love that helps him accomplish many of his dreams. One Day, Luisito is a book that will inspire everyone—young and old—to believe in themselves, and that anything is possible.

About the Author

Born in Lockhart, Elizabeth Cisneros, is the daughter of Monico L. Cisneros and Manuela R. Cisneros. Along with her 5 siblings, they were raised on the importance of education. Once finishing high school, Elizabeth attended and graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education. After College, Elizabeth was able to return to her home town and secure a teaching position for the Lockhart Independent School District where she taught Kindergarten for 30 years. Elizabeth has 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Now retired Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and finding new ways to inspire and teach children.
