About the Book

Throughout this collection, the spirit wanders on many themes, namely love, culture, tolerance, justice, and brotherhood as well as many fresh childhood memories, occasionally reflecting on the workplace of the teacher.

About the Author

Samba Hamady Barry’s father and mother were Fulani; he was born on April 18, 1960, in Boghé. The father of four children, he is a Mauritanian. He completed his primary and secondary education in Boghé. He graduated in 1984 from high school in Boghé then underwent training as a French teacher at Teacher Training College, ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure). He graduated as a French teacher in 1988. He has served in a Kaedi high school from 1988 to 1992, a Moudjéria college from 1992 to 1993, then a Maghama high school from 1993 to 2010, where he currently serves as DE (director of studies).
