About the Book

In REMEDY - An Intimate Collection of Poetry, Philisophies and the Prose and Cons of Healing, Mariana Vassallo paints her life through poetry with all the messiness of it’s beautiful intimacies and tragedies. She captures the past eight years of her journey to find a balance between accommodating the traditional idea of what a woman should be and her own interpretation, while battling her mind and body in the search for self-love.

About the Author

Mariana Vassallo is a twenty-year-old, thespian, and former One Direction enthusiast from Philadelphia. She spends her time making music, painting, and is actively trying to overthrow the patriarchy. Mariana hopes to reach people, especially young women, with her words and provide a relevant perspective on the female experience.
