About the Book
Phoenix Rising is a collection consisting of Savannah Watkins’s poetry, letters and prose. Savannah’s writing has a way of laying itself on the table, unafraid of judgement, and letting the reader take what they will. Savannah Watkins is an artist, a friend to all, a poet, and the author of Phoenix Rising . Savannah has been writing poetry in every notebook since she first heard Maya Angelou’s “I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings”. Her writing is raw and natural and gradually grows with you.
