Alex the Alligator has a negative reaction to his best friend asking Alex's brother for help. Alex tells his mom that his friends are mean, that his brother, Andre, stole his friend, and that his friends do not like him. This book asks the readers to think about what really happened in the story and to come up with different strategies Alex could use to better handle his feelings with the same situation.
