At Ms. Anna’s table, Evelyn and Gabriel were reading a book about a pig doing a jig. A pig…. doing a jig? Evelyn asked Gabriel what a jig was, and he was not sure. They did not to want to ask Ms. Anna, they wanted to be detectives! They asked her if they could talk to their classmates to see if they knew what a jig was. Ms. Anna said of course! She was curious if any children did know what it meant. First, they went to Elsa and asked her, “Do you know what jig means? Elsa said “Yes! My dad has a jigsaw he uses! It is a type of saw.”
