Maxwell is an 11-year-old boy who lives in an orphanage where unexpected and unexplained things happened. Were children actually pulling out their teeth? Was there a white room or a silent room? Was there a mean caretaker? Did an explosion actually happen in the town and caused chaos in the streets? Was it just a dream?

About the Author

Michael A. Booker is an 11-year-old boy who started writing, including his autobiography, at the age of seven. Being an only child, and during the Covid-19 Pandemic, he began spending more time writing and recently decided that he was ready to publish a book. He is a child artist who loves to draw and sing and dance. He has been playing the piano, electric guitar, and drums since the age of four. He also played basketball and ran track for his elementary school.
