About the Book

Robert N. D’Ambola spent his, sometimes nonstandard life, observing life’s absurdities.  Some are obvious and some you have to dive a little deeper to figure out how they came to be that way.  In this book, he did all the busy work for you and laid out some serious problems, questionable decisions, and some absolute ridiculous situations.  Robert was never afraid to address the tough issues.  This book touches on topics that cover life and death, power, love, relationships, technology, finance, the environment, politics, religion, education, mathematics, healthcare, science, travel, and many more.  Don’t worry he always has the correct answers.  You just need to ask the right questions.  This is a collection of stories that may not keep you up at night worrying, but they may tickle a funny bone.

About the Author

Robert N. D’Ambola is what is known in some circles as a renaissance man. This is a person with a remarkably broad knowledge across many different, and often unrelated fields. This does not necessarily mean he developed the skills to master these fields. He was, however, fortunate enough to survive them. Robert started his employment history early. At eight years old he was a lab assistant for a major pharmaceutical company. It only lasted one day, but he received a bona fide paper check for his efforts. He moved to landscaping and then got into the recycling industry before it became in vogue. Before he could drive, he was an apprentice vending assistant. A license allowed him to expand into the food delivery service and then full-time truck driver. His first professional job was with emergency communications for a multi-community dispatch center. This lead to various retail and commercial security positions. He spent a half a century working in Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, and corporate or private security keeping hospitals, schools and churches safe. He is presently one of the longest serving instructors at the John H. Stamler Police Academy located in Union County, New Jersey, spreading his words of wisdom to thousands of police recruits for over 35 years. He gravitated to a short stint in politics while simultaneously continuing his story telling as an author. His two, now adult, Eagle Scout sons are an example of his belief there is true goodness in the universe. His wife Cindy of 50 years has continued to delete untold numbers of commas from his works to make them readable.

This is his eighth book.
