About the Author
X. Williamson was born under the wolf moon once upon a midnight with the bloom of a Nightblooming Cereus, the “moon flower”. Her childhood was marked by a storytelling family and books, developing an everlasting love for the art of words. Myths and stories were a simple and fantastic way to relate to others, making fantasy and imagination an important part of her everyday life. From a very early age X. Williamson wrote stories and poetry as a hobby, developing her love for fantasy in a daily basis. Nowadays she is a teacher, specialized in special needs and works with occasional translations. Teaching has become for her more than an everyday job: it is now a hobby. Words and human interactions with them are still a constant in her life. She currently lives in South America with her close family in an early Twentieth Century house surrounded by her animal friends: several cats, dogs, parrots and possums keep her in touch with the animal realm every day. “Animals help us get in touch with our essence and remind us there’s much more than just humans in the world, we should all remember that.” She believes, and tries to have that in mind in her everyday life and in each of her stories.
