About the Author

Aliesha Brown 26, Christchurch, New Zealand I am a strong Christian, yet have struggled with depression for quite a while. The tension this has caused in my life seems to have given me a unique insight into the most beautiful and extremely dark moments of the mind and soul. This book is a collection of true feelings and lifelong experiences that many of us can relate to, making my poems universal for both young and old alike. My love for relating to others means I spend a lot of my time aiding and helping others with their problems. I am currently still in the battle with depression, but can honestly say I am happily engaged to a wonderful man named Jared.
