About the Book

This book will guide the individual young person and help them to understand the workings of skin, hair, nails as well as other fashion and personal adornment choices and to best develop the style they want to create. “True Colours”, is a manual for frequent use by all young people. On their journey they will be allocated tour guides, especially for them, to map the way for each reader. An avatar created for girls and boys to guide them through the issues presented. About the Author

Firstly I am a daughter. I am married to a New Zealander and am blessed with two Scottish/Kiwi children. So now I am a wife and Mother too! My background is in adult teaching and I have been privileged to have travelled, worked and lived in many countries. Throughout, I have witnessed many varying views and am compelled to document common emotions we all experience in the hope that I can portray empathy and understanding to those who may seek guidance. I am a proud Scottish daughter forever. I now call New Zealand my precious home.
