About the Book

Deborah had gone with her mother to learn to sew dollies. Picking up a sample dolly she was to make she smiled at the dolly and it winked at her. A MAGICAL DOLLY; in shock Deborah Dropped the dolly on its head. She bent down gave it a hug and placed her back on the table. Making her very own was so exciting. Deborah held up her little dolly and exclaimed ‘I will call you Debbie Dumpling.’ Deborah pulled her mother into the sewing room at home to help set up the sewing machine and there she began adding little dumplings as playmates for Debbie Dumpling. As night fell the moonbeam’s came to visit the little dollies and a magical doorway opened into an unknown land. How excited were the dollies in learning it was to be their land ‘The Land of the Dumplings.’ Their adventures had begun!

About the Author

My name is Debbie Fuggle. I am married to James Fuggle who is a Lawyer. I have eight children - six girls and two boys. I live in the Far North Coast of N.S.W. I started writing as a result of a severe car accident which left me in wanting to give to my family something they had to remember me by. I started writing Debbie Dumplings Magical Adventures and this then led me to write the Two Little Fir Trees, even poems and a song. My mother, Patricia Mountier illustrates my book series ‘ Debbie Dumplings Magical Adventures. ’ It’s been an exciting journey full of joy, tears, tantrums in learning to edit and experience with in my family, church and book life. My Mother has been my guide and mentor without her knowledge, going to university and help I would not have achieved to where I am today.
