About the Book

This is a short story about two close friends and their search for happiness and contentment. The young man telling the story wants to settle down and start a family, whereas his mate can’t seem to bring himself to trust a woman with his heart. So he is bound to continue along his path of anxiety fuelled, drunken one night stands. Every new chapter is a new conversation the young men have as they discuss relationships, work and everything in between. Wine is the drug of choice as the characters uncover a little more of themselves and what drives them.

About the Author

About ten years ago I fi nished a university degree majoring in philosophy and I have spent the last fi fteen years working in restaurants. I always had an interest in telling stories, usually short anecdotes that ended with an amusing punch line. However, slowly over the years my tolerance for people and being around them has diminished, but my desire to tell stories did not. So I put pen to paper and created a character that I hope a great many young men can relate to. This story is intended to inspire internal question asking and you will notice; it has no ending.
