About the Author

Born in Bankstown, New South Wales. I am one of 7 children. My father died when I was 6 years old, which left my mother to raise 7 children on her own. When you don’t have much when growing up, you dream and imagine good things because it’s not happening in real life. My grandfather who was a cattle drover/bullock driver used to gather us children around the campfire at his farm to tell us stories. Those times were some of the most memorable and enjoyable times of my young life. When a child hears stories it takes them into a world of fantasy and happiness. They look at the world through these fantasies and see it the way they would like it to be rather than the way it is in reality. And that at times makes them happy. My daughters used to love hearing me tell them stories at bedtime, they encouraged me later in life to put pen to paper. Buster the little Bulldozer is an imaginary character which came to me while working one day. I work in the Earthmoving Industry, driving earthmoving equipment, including Bulldozers. I don’t consider myself an author. I do consider myself a story teller.
