About the Author

I grew up in a small country town with my family of six; my mum and dad, two sisters and a brother. I went to the local primary and high school and completed my education in year twelve. After graduating I continued to study by going to TAFE and studying Children’s Services Certificate 3, for one year. After I finished the course I was employed at a local children’s long day care centre where I have frown my experience in children and have learnt what they are interested in and what they do and don’ t like in books. After working at the day care for a year and a half I came to the decision that I wanted to start writing children’s books. I wanted to write something that I knew would relate to them and interest their imaginative minds.
